As an alternative to the Highfield syllabus, you might prefer the more practical case scenario course. This is also available as a one day stand alone course delivered via Zoom.
It focuses on group exercises which examine challenges and hazards frequently faced by hospitality business. It includes a PDF workbook for delegates to complete.
The link below gives an example of one exercise. Delegates watch the video and document the monitoring results individually. In group they then discuss:
- What is wrong
- Why it's wrong
- Corrective action.
Generally no exam for this course, however internal company certification can be provided on request.
